CHURCH OF SANT JOAN D'ISIL
The outstanding example the Lombard-Romanesque style (late 11th-early 12th centuries) in our territory. The building is constructed in a basilical plan in three naves.
The most important feature is the magnificent south doorway treble arched with smooth shafts, simple bases and capitals with archaic figures.
THE SAINT JOHN FALLES
Festival of national interest.
The night of St. John, the dramatising of the fire ritual is a unique spectacle in this village. The main protagonistes are the "falles" and the "fallaires". The tradition of the "falles" coming from the mountain to the village square is one of those marvels that everyone must see and enjoy at least once in a lifetime; but this being impossible, everybody comes back.
