To come to Esterri d'Àneu you can only travel by road; the alternative is by train to La Pobla de Segur (some 60 Km. south of sur municipality).

The only two roads for arriving are:

From Lleida to Esterri d'Àneu. In a south-northerly direction. Between the two towns you will encounter Tremp, La Pobla de Segur and Sort.

Form Esterri d'Àneu to Vielha, crossing the Port de La Bonaigua. By route N-230 one arrives, at the french border, to Bossost and Eth Pont de Rei. Direction East-West.
